My New Historical Romance Novel is Now Free On Kindle

Hey, friends. I hope you’ve had an amazing summer thus far!

I know I haven’t blogged much, and I’m so sorry. I’ve been busy lots of good things! I’ve been planting my heart out in our garden, and working on restoring a native ecosystem in our yard. It’s been so much fun, as well as fulfilling.

I also decided to pull out an old manuscript I wrote eight years ago for a Harlequin (Love Inspired) Writing Contest. I made it to the final round, but the story wasn’t chosen for publication. Well, this summer I decided to publish it myself.

Check it out here on Amazon.

Yesterday I hit “publish,” and I am so excited for it to be available on Amazon! It is free for three days only. It’s an Amish Historical Romance called The Amish Schoolmarm, and is completely clean of foul language, gore, or anything else inappropriate.

A little about the story…

Deer Springs, Montana, 1920

Hattie Fisher has experienced a heaping dose of heartache in her short Amish life. After her mother’s murder, she takes refuge in a small mountain town to raise her younger sister while working as the local schoolmarm. To her dismay, schoolmaster Levi Hilty doesn’t trust her intentions and hopes to send her away. Tensions rise as both Hattie and Levi avoid their growing feelings while a series of unusual events plague the new schoolmarm. The town that barely survived the Great Influenza epidemic isn’t as safe as she thought it would be. Will Hattie gain Levi’s trust before it’s too late?

Friends, I really hope you enjoy the story! If you do, I would really be grateful if you left a review on Amazon. And tell your friends about the sale, too!

I also just set up a new writing website here, if you’d like to check it out.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends. Now I’m off to help two of my children get ready for dance camp. So much fun!
