It has been raining over here, which is wonderful. After almost a month of very high temperatures, the heat has finally broken. When it’s not raining, I’ve spent a lot of time outside.

I’m starting to get my homeschool plans together. The summer has flown by to me. It seems like just yesterday that we were putting away our books. I’m hoping we have a really good school year.

I’ve been waking up at 5:30 am each day to write 3,000 words before my young children get out of bed. It has been a great habit, but we’ll see if it continues once we begin homeschooling each day.
