Good morning, friends. I hope you had a wonderful week!
To me, this week flew by. The first few days were filled with Thanksgiving prep, and then yesterday we did a bit of shopping and I fulfilled orders from Joyfully Made Hair Bows. I was so blessed to receive a good bit of orders (for me) on Thursday and Friday. So yesterday evening, I spent a couple of hours behind my sewing machine.
I am running a sale in my Etsy shop if you’re interested. Everything is 25% off through Tuesday.

Anyhow, back to our Thanksgiving. I tried a new seating arrangement, and it seemed to work pretty well. I pulled the “kids table” close to one of our couches, and they enjoyed having somewhere comfortable to sit.

This morning, I finished up some bows, and now I’m writing to you! Before long, I plan to run for an hour, and then do some light packing. My family and I rented a cabin in a local state park for two nights, which I’m super excited about. It’s in our county, so we won’t have to travel far. It’s on top of a mountain with a view of our town below, which I think will look so beautiful.
I had planned for us to hike tomorrow, but we will have to see. I believe it will be at least ten degrees below freezing, which isn’t typical for this time of the year. As long as we can layer up, we might do a little bit of walking.
I hope we create a few new memories. Visiting state parks is one of my favorite things to do. This one in particular has some magical overlooks and interesting Native American history. Perhaps we can learn a thing or two.
I hope your weekend is as amazing as you are. Thanks so much for stopping by!
