November Encouragement

Hello, dear friends. I hope you’ve had a wonderful day!

Today has been so very sweet, because my youngest child turned FIVE. I can hardly believe it.

We’ve been celebrating, and we fit in an orchestra practice, to boot. It’s been a busy, but good, day.

November is simply flying by, and I’ve been thinking about ways to really enjoy it. It seems like I have a lot of plans piling up, and I know I need to find the time to simply rest during this beautiful month, too.

Rest is a part of productivity. As the days grow shorter, I’m reminded of this.

This weekend is going to be a busy one, but after that, I’m going to purpose to rest.

I’m going to eat nourishing food, and exercise gently.

I’m going to slowly begin decorating our home for Christmas, and the Winter Solstice. Oh friends, I’m so looking forward to the Winter Solstice! I would like to bring pieces of the outside in, and perhaps add a yule log to our decor. Hopefully we will dehydrate oranges and string them throughout the tree, along with small branches from our yard.

But first, I’m going to take a deep breath and head into the weekend with a smile!

How is your November going? I would love to encourage you to rest when you need to, and to really enjoy each day. Enjoy the month. Enjoy the season.

Enjoy the moment. Each second contains lots of goodness and joy.

(A sweet moment from today. My husband built this for me while playing with our son.)

Who knows what you might find if you quiet your mind and look around?

While tomorrow might be busy, I’m going to take a few moments to write down my to-do list, and get to it with a good attitude. I’ll probably work on Etsy orders, make dinner, homeschool my kiddos, and get prepared for a super exciting orchestra performance. So many good things!

May tomorrow be filled with good things for you, too!
