A Rare Snow at Our Home

,

Hey friends, and welcome! I was so excited over the past few days because it snowed at our home!

Now, I know snow is a normal part of winter for a lot of people. But here in Georgia, it’s pretty rare. So when it snowed all day long on Friday, we were pretty excited.

Guys, it was just so beautiful. I was able to find the time to walk in our woods not once, but twice, before it began to melt. Such a huge treat.

My kids pulled out their sleds, and had a grand time. It was sweet to make some snow memories, since we usually don’t have the opportunity.

I thought I would document the snow with a few pictures here, since it was just so pretty.

I will forever love this Amish-made birdhouse that I picked up in Lancaster County one decade ago.

Speaking of Amish, I have a new Amish-ish novel coming out on 2/25/25. I can’t wait!

About the novel:

Will Josie be able to leave her Amish past behind on Tybee Island?

Josie Lantz’s life is left in shambles when the Amish teenager finds herself both pregnant and alone. When her Aunt Meredith takes her in, she settles into her new fancy life on Tybee Island, yet something is missing.

Islander Hudson Reed has not been able to pick up the pieces of his life after his fiancé was killed in a boating accident, but things start to change once Josie enters the picture.

When the two are forced to evacuate to Josie’s childhood home during a hurricane, will they grow closer together? Or will the forces around them cause their relationship to snap?

Her Island Surprise is now available for pre-order. If you check it out, I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends.
