Adding the Gentle Manners Book Series to Our Home Library

,

Hey friends, and welcome to the blog.

I have been searching for new books to add to our home library, and I thought I would share a few I recently purchased with y’all today.

I think manners are a topic that isn’t discussed much in today’s world. I know that I wasn’t taught much about manners growing up!

So I was delighted when I came across the Gentle Manners Book Series while scrolling through Amazon.

I purchased a couple of books to read to my children.

For the girls, I bought 50 Things Every Young Lady Should Know. I’ve scanned through it, and I think we will have some interesting discussions while reading it! Some of the advice might seem old fashioned, but overall I think it will be fabulous.

For my son, I purchased 50 Things Every Young Gentleman Should Know. He is thirteen-years-old, so I think he is at the perfect age for this book.

I am grateful that these books teach what to do, when to do it, and why. That “why” part is always what confused me when I was young. I have a couple of children in particular who really question why we do what we do (which is a good thing), and I hope these books answer their questions to their satisfaction.

I hopefully will let you know how it goes as we read through these books!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends.
